I just wanted to say hi, but there's no "introduce yourself" thread, so I'm hijacking this one for the little time needed. I mostly like the modeling part of the hobby and reading rules. I'm generally on my own as it looks I can't jam a gram of interest into my friends about tabletop games. Also, my local gaming shop went out of business before the spark of skirmish wargames really hit me and I didn't have the time to know the people who met there for playing, so that couldn't help in making me an active player. Oh well, I hope this forum experience might get me more involved.

It's a good idea to have an introductions thread, neuzd. Thanks for the suggestion and welcome to the forum.

Just for fun. I did a random mech generator. I might make it a little prettier sometime, mostly just to present the statlines as they apepar in the book. Currently outputs 100 random mechs in an awfully looking format, at least they're numbered : P (big fan of random tables). If you like to fiddle with the code it's all in one page, there's even a flag to avoid selecting the "Anti-aircraft fire" weapon-upgrade if you don't plan on using aircrafts, uuuh fancy. Yeah, I'll go to sleep.
[EDIT] If it looks better than you expected, it's because I updated it. Once at home I'll check if it's like the statlines in the book, now I went by memory. I'll put in randomly generated names as well sooner or later.
